Chapter President's Address
Greetings and Welcome!
It is my distinct pleasure to extend you greetings from the members of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated ©, Tau Gamma Lambda Chapter (TGL). TGL proudly operates in the Alpharetta, Sandy Springs, and Roswell, GA areas. Our great fraternity's motto "First of all, servants of all, we shall transcend all" still reigns true today. Our chapter is focused on positively impacting our community in such way that it will never be the same due to our contributions.
Our 34 members take great pride that we have been entrusted to be “servants of all” to our community service areas since July 17, 2021.
Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated© was founded in 1906 as the first fraternity established by college-educated African American men. Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc ©, is currently led by General President Willis L. Lonzer, III, Ph.D., a respected leader in the fraternity, business, and his community. Dr. Lonzer ensures that the local chapters of Alpha Phi Alpha, Fraternity, Inc. ©, Worldwide achieve the following objectives:
⦁ to stimulate the ambition of its members
⦁ to prepare them for the greatest usefulness in the causes of humanity, freedom, and dignity of the individual
⦁ to encourage the highest and noblest form of manhood
⦁ to aid downtrodden humanity in its efforts to achieve higher social, economic, and intellectual status.
These objectives are the overarching goals of our signature National Programs in which we implement locally:
